Cannot Move Items to a Managed Board

I am trying to move items from a board onto a new board, which is an instance of a managed template. I am receiving an error: Sorry for the inconvenience, we couldn’t move 1 [Item]
What am I doing wrong? All the columns match up and everything.

Just a quick suggestion before running the automation to move an item to the newly created board:

  1. Check board permissions – Ensure that both the source and destination boards have the same permissions set.
  2. Test with basic fields – If the issue persists, try running the automation using only basic fields (e.g., text or status).
    Sometimes, file columns or subtask fields can cause unexpected behavior.
  3. Review subtask structure – Double-check the columns and their values at the subtask level, as inconsistencies there can often lead to automation errors.

The managed template might be restricting item movement, even if columns match. Some column types like formula or dependency may block transfers, while permissions or board settings could also be a factor. Try using a cross-board automation, updating settings, or checking for restrictions.

I’ve also found that if the drop downs/statuses don’t match there can be issued with templates and moving things around - so us a column template
