Change Management Help

Hello, fairly new here. I’ve built a couple boards (not recently) and am looking into creating a massive (which I feel they all are) change management board.
I came from JIRA at my old company and currently don’t have anything in place and I want to change that.
I’m hoping I can create a starting point where all main points I need to determine the flow of the process get filled out.
The information given in something like a google form would be automatically inputted into the columns of a board and my automations within Monday was work on it from there.
I’m sure everyone does things a little different and the general board provided is minimal in comparison to how I feel manufacturing changes need to happen.
Could anyone help push me in the right direction?

Thank you all!
Mike

Hello @MichaelSommer3 Welcome to our community.

Monday.com have there own form that can directly populate a board. Have you checked out the great free templates? Other place I would look for good template / example is the Spaces area: Change Management Plan

Clare, where can I see the form that can be created to fill out a board?
The general change management board is too basic for what we need.

Thanks again,
-Mike

Good Evening Mike, There are two ways from a board:

You can add a form to an existing board by clicking the + button and adding

I like Workforms to design the form and the answers auto fill the board in the background. You can use templates or design your own.

Hi Mike,
You can look into creating a high level board to store all the main details of each project and use automations to input data from forms into columns on your boards.
FYI When setting up the automations, you’ll be able to pick a template for the new boards.
Also, you could use custom templates for specific projects and linking them with Connect Boards Column or Mirror Columns.
Cheers,
Harsh
