If anyone needs a hack for this, and doesn’t want to wait for the feature before reordering the views, you can follow these steps:
Supposed you have the following views:
Main Table, View A, View B, View C, View D
and you want the view to be in the order: Main, A, D, B, C
You can do this:
duplicate view B
duplicate view C
[Current state: M, A, B, C, D, B2, C2]
delete view B
delete view C
[Current state: M, A, D, B2, C2]
rename “duplicate of B” to B
rename “duplicate of C” to C
[Final state: M, A, D, B, C]

Any updates on this?

In Project Management I use a lot of different views and honestly sorting them via workaround by duplicating and deleting is just not a time sink I can justify.

It was on the roadmap and is such a basic quality of life feature.

Instead of jumping on the AI hype, Monday should cover the basics more, especially with all the system issues of lately.

I get why the focus is on futureproofing Monday or promoting it in this AI battle, but to futureproof some concepts need to be set in the present and not in the past

Ability to Reorder Views

Update from the product team: The final touches are being put on this feature and you will very soon be able to re-order views! The Alpha release of the feature is planned to start in the coming weeks and then it will start to be gradually released. We are planing for you be able to reorder the views in any way you want before the end of 2024.

It is coming as an alpha release in the coming weeks and there will be a full release by the end of the year.

Business perspective very helpful to implement the feature to allow users reorder views using drag and drop feature. Any business wants that business perspective important views at the start and less important views at the end.

The above post from December 31, 2023 says that this feature will come in 2024. There are only a few weeks left until the end of the year - is it already available? (I can’t find it.)
