I have been running into problems with causing actions on certain boards with events in other boards. This seems like it should be a functionality that exists: I would like a status change, or column change on one board, to cause automations to trigger on other boards.
An example could be that, I may have a board that serves as a record of quality inspection, and I would like it so that when someone completes the form, monday compares a field that was just entered, finds the same thing on another board and updates that board saying “quality check is done!” or something like that.
So far it’s been a mess of trying to get things to react to mirror column status changes etc etc, never working how i expect it to. I used to be able to sometimes get around it with general caster but apparently it no longer is able to use mirror/connected board columns.
Overall it’s been frustrating, hoping someone here can help
