One of the most challenging this for our team when we started implementing Monday.com as the main database for our company was that people that aren’t tech savy would tend to be afraid of the change because this would mean they would need to reprogram their mindset and adapt to something that was entirely different (in a good way). In our company we have a clash of generations with the newer employees being more tech savy and the older generation being used to their outdate processes. Having a board chat bot that can basically grab data from the board and answer questions like order or jobs status, who is assigned what, different dates column and many more details of data within the board would make the generational clash a bit more bearable for many companies like ours that really enjoy using Monday.com. There are plenty of third-party apps that have chat bots such as this, but because monday does not have an integration to their platform, it would mean that we must manually add or duplicate the data from our monday.com board into their website so that the bot can answer questions. Having a bot inside monday.com would facilitate the request for information and all general data request.
Implementing Monday.com as the main database posed challenges for our team, particularly for non-tech-savvy individuals who were hesitant to adapt to change. With a mix of generations in our company, bridging the gap between tech-savvy newcomers and those accustomed to outdated processes was difficult. A board chat bot capable of extracting data and answering queries would alleviate this clash. While third-party apps offer similar solutions, Monday.com lacks direct integration, necessitating manual data entry for bot functionality. Integrating a bot within Monday.com would streamline information retrieval and address general data inquiries efficiently.
