I know that I can create a board with importing data from Excel. However, is it possible to import data from Excel to an existing Monday.com Board?

Hi @Suzie555! Yes it is possible, and it’s actually done the same way. Click on the three dots in the top right of the board, go to “More Actions”, then hit “Import items”. Then, you can upload an excel spreadsheet and choose how you want the data to be imported.

This only seems to add a new board? I only have import leads not items. I have a list of 350 email address I need to update or add to existing leads on a board.
Any ideas very weclome?

Sorry to say I cant see how this would work for mu issue.
I have a board with 3900 leads, I need to update 347 of them with new or amended emails addresses. I need to find a way to search for email@orginal and replace it with email@newaddress
My goal is to trigger a status update for all the new or amended email address and this is the only way I can think of to make this run,
In that case, you might try out our Duplicates and Uniques app merge feature, which can automatically find items (based on a specific identifier) and merge them.
Here is a demo of how the merge feature works.
You can just download the Leads as an excel.
Match the old emails to the new emails using XLOOKUP in Excel.
The replace the old Email column with the new Email column.
Then upload the new Excel using the Company Name / Lead Name as the matching column. You can import directly into Monday Boards by clicking on the three dots at the top right of every Monday Board
