Disable status label case sensitivity

I need to regularly import an excel file from another team to update on of my boards. I want to disable the case sensitivity of the status column. Right now, two statuses that are effectively the same are being counted as separate labels and it is messing up my dashboards. Is there a way to do this? Or another workaround? I can’t find any data validation options.

i.e. “Under 90%, submitted” and “Under 90%, Submitted” are being counted as two separate status labels.

You can create an automation for when an item is created, if status is Under 90%, submitted , change to Under 90%, Submitted , or the opposite.

There are not really any case sensitivity settings on monday, so I believe this would be the best you can do.
