Edit the Item Name without the sensitivity to trigger "Open" so easily

I often run into the issue of editing my project task/item name and that area is too sensitive that it often pops open, as if I am trying to Open that Item. It would be helpful if the “Open” wasn’t in the same space, and had it’s own section, or make it so one has to click on the word “Open” and not just around it.
