Email Open Monitoring Should Exclude Sender Opens

It’s nice that Monday can monitor whether an email recipient has opened an email I’ve sent from Monday. The problem is that I often open emails I’ve sent by looking at them in Gmail (which I have synced with Monday). Any time I do, Monday marks the email as opened. Of course, that’s not the kind of open I care about. Is there any way to tell Monday to ignore my email opens from my sent emails in Gmail when reporting on whether an email has been opened?

I understand how that can be frustrating! Unfortunately, as of now, Monday.comdoesn’t offer a built-in feature to exclude your own opens when tracking email opens. However, there are a couple of workarounds you might consider:

Use a different email account: You could set up a separate email account specifically for sending emails through Monday.com.This way, your opens in Gmail wouldn’t be tracked as opens in Monday.

Manual adjustment: You could manually adjust the open rates in your reports by subtracting your own opens. This would require some extra effort but could be a temporary solution.
