Emails not visible since original user left and account inactive

Is there a way for others to view email activity on email & activities if it was sent/received via a account that has since left?

We have some boards that are similar to a CRM board but now the original user has left I need someone else to contact that client and see the email activity.

Ok, found a solution myself. For anyone else this comes up with I had to reactivate the old account, log in as them. Go to settings for the email and activities and in the email account section you can add other users as view only so they can see the email history.
