Exporting from a board is more like a report and does not lend itself to analyzing data using Excel as it has header rows, sub totals, etc. While this is good for a PDF style report, it is not so good for an Excel report. It will be good to have an Excel export option that has only 1 header row and has all the detailed rows so that it can be later used to create pivot tables, filters etc. This can be a separate tab - so they can go to the current tab for report format, and a new tab, let us say “Summary Data” Tab if they want to do analysis. Since Excel attachments are not allowed, I have taken screenshots of the current tab and also the recommended summary tab so you can see the difference.
