When I export a table widget the way I would on a normal table board, the excel document contains all columns, even the ones that I have hidden via the widget’s settings.
We really need to be able to use this function to export only the columns that are being shown in the dashboard, otherwise it defeats the purpose.

Unfortunately we just couldn’t use it the way I wanted to. I haven’t tried it since then though to see if any changes were made.
I agree with this, if you have hidden columns these shouldn’t be shown when you export the board. Ideally, I’d like to see the option to either show or hide columns that are hidden as there might be circumstances when you want everything depending on the audience.
