I am trying to use zapier to when a file is uploaded to monday it’ll trigger something in zapier (renaming file then saving it to a google drive). I set up a board with 3 columns that are file upload columns. But when i go to Zapier those columns dont appear as a trigger. But when i have a not add a file column those show up in zapier…
any help making this work would be appreciated.

Can we use rules and automations to direct files to different folders based on tags in the item?

Zapier’s monday.com integration primarily triggers on item property changes, not directly on file uploads. Workarounds include using the “Any Column Value Changed” trigger Receiptify Music with filters to detect file uploads, or the “New Item Created” trigger with subsequent checks.
