Getting things ready for next School Year

Hi,
I am trying to figure the best workflow/integrations on Monday.com.
I’m a school admin that is working to make sure that the school is ready for 2024-2025 school year.
I need to keep track of construction projects, classroom changes among others things.
I also need to make sure I communicate and dont forget about small details, like a hole in the wall there, a extra there etc…
I mainly want to use this platform for scheduling & detail purposes and not to communicate with others.

@rochk123 , Sorry to see no one replied! Here’s how you can use Monday.com to streamline your workflow and keep track of everything for the 2024-2025 school year:

  • Set Up a Master Board: Create a master board to track all key projects and tasks, such as construction projects, classroom changes, and other facility needs.
  • Create Groups for Each Project: Organize your board by grouping tasks under specific projects (e.g., “Construction,” “Classroom Changes,” “Maintenance Details”).
  • Use Columns for Task Details: Add columns for task names, due dates, priority levels, and status (e.g., “Not Started,” “In Progress,” “Completed”).
  • Add a Notes Section: Use a “Text” column to record small details, like a hole in the wall or extra materials needed.
  • Set Up Automations: Use automations to receive reminders for tasks nearing their due dates or to change the status of tasks automatically when completed.
  • Utilize the Calendar View: Use the calendar view to visualize deadlines and ensure everything is scheduled efficiently.
  • Leverage Dashboards: Create dashboards to get an overview of progress across all projects and track which tasks are overdue or require attention.
  • Mobile App for On-the-Go Updates: Install the Monday.com mobile app so you can quickly log details you notice during walkthroughs.
  • Integrations for Efficiency: Integrate with tools like Google Calendar for scheduling or Dropbox/Google Drive for document storage.
  • Utilize Checklists: For smaller tasks or details, use sub-items or checklists within each task to ensure nothing gets overlooked.

This setup will help you manage scheduling and details effectively while keeping everything in one place. Let me know if you need further assistance!
