We use for all internal and external tasks,
Each internal project or customer has a board, and we share those customer boards with the customer.

We then have a global ‘tasks’ dashboard, this has groups to breakdown say…

  • Call backs
  • Unsorted tasked (created with the incoming email integration from email)
  • tasks - which contain 2 minute tasks or a ‘board’ task so the team know that they have tasks in other boards.
  • to be invoiced

We also use the API to talk with a custom time tracking Mac app,

  • select a board, then a task, hit go, and the API then pushed back WHO and the time for that task.


Really impressive - this seems like a hugely helpful board setup.

I’m curious to learn how the larger Global Tasks board is working for you. How do you have it set up?
