Hello,
I created a forum that only users who are logged into monday.com are able to use. I want to populate a people column with the user who submitted the form. Is this possible? I don’t seem to be able to get it to work. Because of what the form does and how many times a user will submit the form, I do not want users to have to select their name from a drop down.

Thank you! That worked! I wonder why I could not get the same functionality to work in an a workflow? I think it’s ok to use both automations and workflows, but it’s frustrating to have to separate functionality…
Thank you. Do you know if “Assign Item Creator” works differently than using “Change column value” and setting value to the “Triggered By User”? This is how I was approaching it and it was not working.
