Can WorkForm assign automatically?

I am trying to understand if there is a way to auto fill people column by using the WorkForm.

In my case, I’m trying to make a work flow which our employees are filling reports, in which they are required to login first (hence the form should already know who the user is) and once they submit the form the people column auto populate with the user who filled it.

It feels weird to ask people to fill their name or to choose it from a list when they are already signed in.

You can use the automation ‘When an item is created assign creator as person’ to do this.

Honestly I’m used to solving only complicated stuff, it’s nice to have a very simple solution every now and then.
