I’ve created approx 40 different documents with “emergency plans” for our different software systems used in the bank according to legal requirement. The same 40 documents should also be kept/replicated in another way according to the EU legislation. Before it was converted the docs in Monday - they where filed in a Sharepoint system, and we frequently had to print all of documents, and keep them physical.
My thought…
Is it possible to automate a frequent export of the Monday-docs to pdf-files, which I could keep in a anothe type of electronic storage ex. USB-file storage.
Hello @j882269r not directly, but yes with automation.
monday Docs don’t have a scheduled “export to PDF” option yet. You can print a Doc to PDF manually, but if you want this to happen regularly, you’ll need an integration tool like Make or Zapier.
Basic idea:
When a Doc is created or updated
Send it to an automation tool
Turn it into a PDF
Save it to another storage location that you can later copy to USB.
