Description
Hi community ![]()
I’ve come across a problem with shared dashboards containing charts in monday.com and wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this, or if there’s an official fix.
When I configure a chart and use the “Choose which columns to display” option to hide all columns, it works perfectly in my own account: clicking on the chart doesn’t show any columns.
However, when I share the dashboard link publicly (for example, opening it in an incognito window), clicking on any chart reveals all the board’s columns, including the ones that were hidden.
This feels like a serious security gap, since dashboard owners might assume hidden columns are safe, but external viewers can still access them through the chart.
Column permissions aren’t a workaround here, as I need some users to be able to edit and others only to view, and that combination can’t be applied to the same column.
Has this already been reported as a bug? Or is there a temporary workaround?
