How can I let form submitters "own" their submissions?

I have a system in which I track vendors. I know that I could use a CRM board, but I have an existing solution in Monday Work Management, so I think I want to stay there for now.

When I create a new vendor, I add them to the board, but I then ask them to complete a form that asks for more information. I want a way to:

  1. Create the vendor record, then
  2. Allow them to access and update the existing record by matching on their email address.

In short, I want to enter Joe Smith (with an email of joe@foo.com and some job details) and then ask him to visit the form, enter his email, and then answer a bunch of questions. When all is done, I want a single record, updated with his additions.

Is this possible?

There’s an app called ā€˜Only Form’ that has this ability. @AnishJ is the creator and he’s super open to feedback on it.

Thanks for replying.

I know that app and have tried it out… it’s not quite what I’m looking for. I’d love to hear other ideas or suggestions.

Thanks Sir, Your Feedback

What kind of Reply this is? seems BOT to me @OmerK

@AnishJ, thanks for the video! I’m so sorry that I presumed. If you recall, we did have a conversation about my needs and your extension a couple of months ago… and I don’t think this search feature existed at that time. If it works the way I think it does, it is exactly what Iā€m looking for, so I’ll be sure to give it another shot when I have the time.

Thanks so much for replying!

No worries at all life happens I really appreciate you taking another look. When I finished the feature, I sent over an email, but it might have slipped through.

Whenever you’re ready, just ping me I’ll be happy to walk you through it and make sure it works exactly how you need.

another case against using Onlyform (you can install the app and expect a world class support)
