How can I set Monday to mail Assigner of a task if someone else completes it?

Very simple. If I am the person in the Requester column and I change Status to Done I don’t want an email. If anyone else changes Status to Done I want an email.

How can I do this?

Hi @mfriedma - you can use a custom automation to accomplish this, however you would need to set it up for each member of your team as there is no “and only if Person is notstrong text****”

Mark, doesn’t seem like that works.

It will automatically notify you but it will not notify the assigner. If I assigned the job to Joe it will still notify Mark, not me.

You could make if “only if Assigner is assigned to Mark then notify Mark” but that would notify Mark even if Mark marked the task Done.
