How to automate moving an item to a different workspace?

Hi Monday community and admins,

I was wondering if it is possible to automate the following:
If a status changes to X move item to X in workspace X
OR
If a status changes to X create an item in Board X in workspace X

The usecase is that I would like to be able to automatically create an item in our Project Management workspace when an item in our Sales workspace is given a certain status.

Is there a way to do this within Monday?
Or perhaps a workaround?

If you can actually create different ā€œWorkspacesā€ then you must be on the Enterprise plan because the other plans do not allow this. However maybe you mean different boards?

All the plans allow workspaces. Enterprise allows them to be ā€˜privateā€™.

Iā€™m a relative newbie, but I think the situation is this -

You wouldnā€™t explicitly reference a workspace, but you can create an item in a different board, and that board can be in any workspace you like.

You can move your item, but only to a different ā€˜groupā€™, and a group is a subdivision of the current board.

So it sounds like the first case is the one you want; i.e. this automation -
