Is there any plans to have an option for admins to impersonate users so that they have the ability to see what an end user will see when they log onto Monday.com ?
It’s especially useful when look at dashboards they are looking across various boards with different permissions .
Or indeed if there is a way to do it currently please point me in that direction!!
At the moment this is not available in the platform. As we continue to develop more admin permissions I will be happy to pass this along to our product team for review.
Any update on this? This would be very useful for us as I want to avoid a situation where contractors or clients who are guests are able to see boards or board views that I do not want them to be able to see. I also want to avoid a situation where they are not seeing what I wanted them to be able to see.
Yes we would appreciate this feature too, when i connect boards or create dashboards for our Executive team, its very difficult to know if they are seeing the same thing due to needing to have access to all connected boards. Ability to impersonate a user would help remove this pain.
Thank you
Jacqui
I’d like this feature as well. When I meet with clients and share screens, they can see everything I can see, including hidden columns. If I could impersonate them, I’d not only be able to troubleshoot issues they are having, but I’d be able to share my screen in meetings.
Agreed- this would be a super helpful feature and eliminate lots of screen sharing and back and forth working out permissions issues. On another note - I would even love it if the Monday support staff could have this feature, it would be make troubleshooting much easier!
I agree this would be incredibly useful. Having recently implemented HALO PSA where this is possible it was an essential tool in adjusting and testing permissions and functionality, as well as troubleshooting user issues.
There is another duplicate request here in the community but I am not allowed to link to it
