Summary
Increase item limit for free developer accounts

The problem
Currently monday offers a free developer account to test the platform and build apps. This plan has more features than the free plan, but is limited to 1000 items total. This is problematic if you try to test your app at scale or have a lot of test data.

The use case
An app developer may want to test their app against huge boards (10,000 items) or dashboards (50 connected boards) to make sure it performs well at scale. It is currently not possible.

Yep, would love that. We can only guess what the experience would be like loading and maybe even displaying thousands of items. We may look into developing workarounds if this becomes an actual issue for users, but we’d love to be ahead of these things. Committing to Pro is too much of a commitment when starting out as an independent developer unfamiliar with the apps platform.

This is absolutely essential at least for developers building integration apps. In the review process their is expectation to test for scalability where they test for automation on 500 items at a time.

Now I have multiple apps with different type of integrations, as a result I need to test them for scalability in different boards. Many times I just have to remove items from one of my existing boards to make enough space to test scalability for other.

And as number of apps developed by a developer increases, this problem just keep on increasing, as complex apps have multiple flows to test, and maintaining different boards become hard with this small limit of number of items.

Hope this makes sense.
