Hi, I use the mass email function fairly frequently. I know how to use the insert column function (I always use it to insert their first name for example).
What I am trying to do is insert their Company/Business Name too. This could be in the Subject line such as ‘How we can help {Acme Group} Generate more Sales!’.
Problem is, I now have 16,000 contacts and the only company name column I have is the one that links to their Account, whilst it displays the comapny name as a link to the accounts board (ie I can click on it and it takes me to ‘Acme Group’), it does not show up as an option to add as a {} Column when creating a mass email.
Is there a quick and easy way on the Contacts board to duplicate what is in the ‘Accounts’ linked column, but as plain text in a ‘Company’ column which I could then use in mass emails? I can do it by exporting in Excel, then re-importing however I do not want to do that for 16,000 contacts AND lose all the associated emails, updates, files etc attached to their name…
