I am looking for something which can’t figure out. I have created a task in one board; used the automation - create item in new board when status set to Open.
Now I want the statuses to be linked, so if I change the status on board 1 it is reflected in the task created on board 2 and if vice versa. I dont want to have to change the status on each item in both boards individually.
Any suggestions?

I’m in the same boat - I have connected items across two boards and want a two-way sync of a status column. Fully expected that this would be existing functionality… but I’m brand new to Monday and still discovering.

I’ve successfully linked statuses between two boards using the mirror column, but it can get overwhelming when there are multiple mirror columns and/or linked boards to one board.
We have a board we use as a team board and several team members use individual boards for their work but sync up to the team board when items are created on the individual boards.
I’ve also tried the beta automation that links board columns for status changes by “logic” but it doesn’t update to the matching item in the other board, it puts the updates on random items instead.
