Lock left hand navigation pane for Folders, Boards, etc

I would like to have the ability to lock the left pane view/access to Folders, Boards, etc. to reduce confusion and frustration of our users due to accidental movement of Folders, Boards, by our users.

We have a standard list of Folders and Boards in the left hand nav pane. It is alphabetical. Around 2-3 times per week, we find that someone has accidentally moved a Board or a Folder due to the sensitivity of clicking/opening a Folder/Board. This causes a terrible user experience due to users being unable find the Boards they may be working on.

Despite our efforts at training users, these accidents still happen.

I know that an individual user can lock their own left pane, but that is not viable for us using it across the enterprise.

For any others out there that have experienced this, I would love to have your vote in support of this, in hopes that Monday.com will address this seemingly simple fix.

Yes! This is a huge problem for us as well.

Thanks. Feel free to ā€œvoteā€ for this request. I donā€™t know how Monday.com prioritizes requests, but I assume the ā€œmore votes, the betterā€.

Yes please! I keep finding templates and active boards hidden in our ā€˜Completedā€™ folder

@QueenT and @blangt , I can share that Monday.com was able to devote development resource on fixing this issue. They built a new permission that allows an Admin to restrict the ability of users/Members to reorder Workspace left navigation content.
Note, it is my understanding that this exists only for Enterprise customers. But, it is not just this instance, I believe it is due to Permissions" being available only at the Enterprise level.
If you are an Enterprise customer, I would suggest contacting your support person for your account to learn how to specifically do this.

Thanks, Scott! I actually came across the permission last week, despite not being able to find it before. It is a sort of solution - and not something that occurred to me until trialling. The permission means restricting user from moving all left pane content, as opposed to freezing individual boards in order (or a ā€˜pin to topā€™ type feature would also work). So weā€™ll have to ask admins or champions to move things to the ā€˜completedā€™ folder as the bulk of users would be restricted. Still a very handy feature
