Description
It would be really helpful to have a “Maintenance Mode” option for monday.com Forms. Right now, if you need to make edits to a form, the only way to prevent submissions is to fully disable it, which shows a message saying the form is no longer available. That messaging can be confusing for users, especially when the form will be back shortly. On the other hand, leaving the form active while making changes risks someone submitting it mid-edit, which can cause data issues.
A maintenance mode toggle in Form Settings could temporarily block submissions and instead display a customizable message like, “Sorry, this form is being worked on right now. Please check back in a few minutes!” This would allow form owners to safely make updates while clearly communicating what’s happening to users. Ideally, the message could be customized to include expected downtime or a return timeframe.
