In project we like to use the progress bar (battery) to report on the progress (per item or group) that we are making. We report on decimals (10% / 20 %…). Right now we add numerous status columns that reflect in the battery, but this workaround clutters the board. Is there another way? or make this a feaature?
Similarly, I have created many statuses and played around them them until we found what we liked. I wanted to try to use the Battery Widget to show our progress, but it is mapping the “Done” status to a different status I created that is not equivalent. I believe this happened because I edited the defaulted “Done” status to something else and created a new “Done” status. It would be helpful if I could reroute this to the status we want to show the percentage of and showcase that on the widget.
Has anyone found a work around for this yet? We are the same, we use percentages% for our progress, not stages that work as columns. Example: A group may be “Create Training Docs” and the tasks are the document names. We have a manual column for “Progress %” and we update the % as we progress through creating each document. It would be nice to see a battery or gauge based on input %'s as that’s more visual than a column with 10% or 90%.
