Merge columns from imported excel file

Hello

I need help with this issue:
Everyday I get a new excel file with updated information that’s already on Monday.
When I import the file to monday I need only 1 column to be updated and keep the other columns on Monday without any changes…

The closest solution I came up was importing the data then merge the two duplicates into one item. Is this the best solution???

Welcome to the community.
You can use the Duplicates and Uniques app for this.
Within the app, you can set which columns should maintain their existing values and which columns should be updated.
Here is a demo of how the merge functionality works.
