I created an automation where, if a status changes, I create a 2-way connection between my board and another one. Since most of my project was done on my board, it would be great if comments/updates could also be mirrored.
What are you trying to achieve
I want to make sure that people from other teams are also aware of what was already said
Hi Nathan! Thank you for submitting your feature request. We have an existing request in the Community which addresses the same need you’ve highlighted: Shared or mirrored updates for connected items.
Right now, this feature is not on the longterm product roadmap. However, I encourage you to upvote the existing feature request and share your use case in the thread. This way, we can continue evaluating and prioritizing the feature for the future! Please also let me know if you would like me to merge your request with the existing one to ensure votes are counted accurately!
You could also schedule a call with me here, I’d love to walk you through it.

Hi,
We recently published a detailed guide showing how to resolve this issue. The guide shows how to sync updates between high level board items and several connected child board items, without the need to duplicate your items across multiple boards. Also works for 2-way board connections.
So when an update is posted on the high level board item, it is propagated down to all the connected child board items updates and when an update is posted on the child board, it is sent to the high level board connected items’ updates.
That way, the high level board item aggregates the updates from the child board items and the child board items can view updates from the high level board items.
