in the Monday docs, if I create a checklist and use it to create items to a Monday board, even if I change that item in the board (specifically: the name) it doesn’t update on the monday doc checklist.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this not a feature?

From my understanding it’s expected that changes made to the text in the workdoc wouldn’t translate to the item in the board. That said, I have followed up with our developers on this and will update you once I hear back 
Just following up here! I have had confirmation that at this time changes to text in the workdoc will not sync to the item, and vice versa. Thanks for sharing this as a feature suggestion however, this is the best way to increase visibility and increase votes to get this feature request considered
