The new “monday Doc” column is a really cool feature. However, I noticed that when attempting to set up an automation that create’s the item on another board, the monday Doc column won’t transfer…? Can someone help with this.
I did some research and you would also expect it to transfer under files if it’s stored there. If you find a workaround, please share!
When you create a document using a “Monday Doc” column in monday.com, the document is stored within monday.com’s platform itself. It is associated with the specific board and item where the column exists. The document is stored in the “Files” section for easy access and can be managed and shared directly within the platform. You can also access these documents from the Files View on monday.com, where all files and docs across your boards are aggregated.
