I am trying to integrate google sheets with monday, using zapier.
I am struggling to get the json correct for updating status’s or dropdown’s
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Does integromet allow you to update dropdowns and status’ based on google sheets information?

The short answer is yes.
If you want to update to values that are already on the board, it’s very easy.
If you are adding new values to the columns, it takes a little more setup. The ability to add values that are not already there was recently added to the monday API and has not been implemented in to the standard monday modules in Integromat yet. This makes it necessary to call the API directly using the http module. It’s not as straight forward but very doable.

There’s a very simple way to connect a Monday Board to a Google Sheet using this app.
All you need to do is create a CSV URL (example below) and copy & paste the script in the first cell of your spreadsheet.
That’s it!
