I am using the Pro plan of Monday.com to manage the monthly schedule of my agency. However, I have found some limitations in the management of boards and dashboards that do not allow me to obtain an effective solution for my workflow. Let me explain my situation:
I need to see, at the beginning of the month, an overview of the monthly schedule or forecasting, which includes:
The projects to be addressed for each client, The people involved in each project to therefore also see the commitment of the individual resource in the month.
At the moment we do this schedule manually on a paper sheet, grouping the projects by client (each client as a “column” with the related projects listed below).
On monday, I have divided the client projects into folders that represent the categories of work (e.g. “Branding and Positioning”, “Packaging”, “Web/Digital”, etc.).
Each folder contains the projects, named with the name of the client.
I have created a dashboard that offers an overview of the cards in each folder, connecting the related boards of the same category.
Problems encountered:
I can only connect 20 cards per dashboard, but I have many more projects to manage.
I can’t connect multiple dashboards to aggregate all the information, exceeding this limit.
I can’t find an effective solution to display a consolidated monthly schedule, which groups the projects by customer as we do on the paper sheet. I would like a way to allow me to see which status is active for the project and that it is automatically displayed in the monthly schedule board.
Is there a native solution on Monday.com to overcome the limit of 20 connected cards or aggregate multiple dashboards into one?
How can I manage a monthly schedule that respects the format we use (grouping by customer and showing the projects below)?
even providing video tutorials are fine
