Hi everyone!
First of all, I want to say how much I love Monday and the powerful integrations it offers. It’s a tool I recommend to many of my clients, and it has been a game-changer in managing workflows.
That said, I wanted to share an idea that could bring even more value to the integration between Monday and Mailchimp. As you might know, Mailchimp encourages users to maintain a single list of contacts, using tags to segment audiences based on their interests. However, as it stands, the current integration between Monday and Mailchimp doesn’t allow us to add contacts to Mailchimp while assigning tags natively.
This limitation becomes challenging in cases like mine: I use WorkForms to collect information from various audiences with different interests. Without native support for tags, it’s hard to send targeted email campaigns based on these interests, as Mailchimp relies on tags for segmentation. Right now, I have to use tools like Zapier to bridge the gap, which adds complexity and cost.
I believe having a native option to apply tags directly from Monday to Mailchimp would streamline the process, make the integration much more user-friendly, and align perfectly with Mailchimp’s best practices. This enhancement could benefit many users managing diverse campaigns, and it would strengthen the synergy between these two amazing platforms.
I’d love to hear if anyone else has run into a similar need or if the Monday team has plans for this in the future. I’m more than happy to share ideas or insights to help move this forward.
Thanks so much for considering this, and I look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts!
Best,
Vinícius
