Hello! I am trying to create a “variable” type of formula. We have a “Start Hold” date column and a “Stop Hold” date column in our board. These are automatically set when a certain status changes. There is then a formula column that calculates the hold time.
What we are looking to do is create an additional formula so that if the item were placed back in hold status and then the hold stopped the new total value would be added to the first. I tried this by trying to add the value of column “Hold Time” to a value contained in the formula column, but the system doesn’t like that.
If this rambling makes sense to anyone, can you assist with finding a way to achieve this or is it impossible?
