New Contacts (ie Prospects) and Creating Activities

I am setting up prospects and wish to be able to open up the file on the prospect and create a future activity (eg call back Feb 27, 2025). Right now, I have to set up the prospects info and then go into the activities workspace and create an activity to remind myself to call them back on the above date (for eg). Is there any way to create the prospect (ie name, address and phone number) and from the same workspace set up a future task to call them. It takes me two steps at present

Maybe you can use one of the automations! Each automation includes a trigger, condition, and action. For your setup, it might look like this:

  • Trigger: When the date arrives or Time Period
  • Condition: Specified date/ time
  • Action: Create a subitem and assign someone as the assignee

Can you add a column for a follow up date? Then just put the date you want to call them on. Then create a view that shows you any items that has a follow up date of today or before today.
