Not Requiring One Subscriber to Items

We would like to implement an automation to notify item subscribers when a column changes (Timeline, etc.). To cut down on spam, we only want this to apply to a subset of important items in our board, but Monday requires that every single item in a board MUST have at least one subscriber. This doesn’t make any sense, and impedes the usefulness of subscribing to an item. We are almost tempted to make a dummy account to be our notification dump. Please fix this!
