Notifications to be sent ONLY on Weekdays

I have a campaign board that I use to track a newsletter. These is a specific column for “Target Completion Date” that tracks when I should have everything ready. “Target Completion Date” is set relative to another column “Target Send Date”. Because the send date changes from month to month by a few calendar days, on occasion my reminder notification for “Target Completion Date” (which is sent 3 days prior) falls on a weekend.

I would like to create some form of logic/automation to have Monday confirm if the notification send date is on a weekend and if so, postpone the sending of the notification until the next weekday (i.e. the following Monday).

When you say “Target Completion Date is set relative to another column Target Send Date”, you mean it is set manually by the user or automatically? If automatically, how?

“Target Completion Date” is automated to be set 5 days prior to “Target Send Date”

Could you create a third “notification date” and use business days for everything? That way nothing lands on a weekend, and you just notify ON the notification date.
