Description
Hello Monday.com Team,
I would like to suggest a new feature that could improve the visual management of boards and make it easier for users to quickly identify key information.
Idea:
Allow the Date column to optionally change its cell colour based on whether it contains a date value. For example:
- If the cell is empty β remain blank (no colour)
- If the cell has a date β change to a green background (or another user-selectable colour)
Benefit:
- Help users quickly see which items have dates assigned and which do not.
- Makes checklist and project tracking more visually intuitive.
- Should be optional, allowing users to enable or disable this colour coding as needed.
I believe this small visual enhancement could significantly improve board readability and usability, especially for teams managing multiple deadlines and tasks.
Thank you for considering this suggestion!
What are you trying to achieve
I want to make it easier for users to visually identify which date cells are filled or empty by optionally changing the cell colour when a date is entered.
