We would like to use the Outlook integration, but after testing and talking with support, we discovered that it doesn’t work with shared accounts. Can you add this feature to the Outlook integration so that we can have 2-way sync between Monday.com and a shared Outlook account?
Shared Outlook account = a general inbox that several members of our team have access to. There’s no separate password/login for this email account - each person with access to the account accesses it via their own login.
Yes, this is a feature that is very much needed. I am admin for a sales team – I set up automations for everyone up to our CEO. When a demo of our platform is requested via a form we have set up in monday.com CRM, they have to choose how many licenses they are looking for. The CEO only wants her signature on demos above a certain number of licenses – easy enough to connect to her signature. But individual license requests get group demos and emails to them need to come from our general ‘info@’ email. I do not want these people having my email address. In my last CRM, ActiveCampaign, we didn’t even have to ‘connect’ to shared inboxes, we just filled out a box of what the ‘From’ email address should be. Not everyone on sales teams wants the general public to have their individual email address!!
You should be able to do this with SuperMail. Anyone who has the login credentials can validate the email account, and all users can see the entire thread in the SuperMail Dialog view. Problem solved!
Thanks, Shari. We’re hoping to see this functionality to be added to the native Monday.com app instead of needing to rely on a third-party app for it. But I appreciate you pointing out a potential solution!
