Outlook Integration - Enable/Add Shared Outlook Accounts

We would like to use the Outlook integration, but after testing and talking with support, we discovered that it doesn’t work with shared accounts. Can you add this feature to the Outlook integration so that we can have 2-way sync between Monday.com and a shared Outlook account?

Shared Outlook account = a general inbox that several members of our team have access to. There’s no separate password/login for this email account - each person with access to the account accesses it via their own login.

We too would love this feature

Yes, this is a feature that is very much needed. I am admin for a sales team – I set up automations for everyone up to our CEO. When a demo of our platform is requested via a form we have set up in monday.com CRM, they have to choose how many licenses they are looking for. The CEO only wants her signature on demos above a certain number of licenses – easy enough to connect to her signature. But individual license requests get group demos and emails to them need to come from our general ‘info@’ email. I do not want these people having my email address. In my last CRM, ActiveCampaign, we didn’t even have to ‘connect’ to shared inboxes, we just filled out a box of what the ‘From’ email address should be. Not everyone on sales teams wants the general public to have their individual email address!!

Hi Catherine,

You should be able to do this with SuperMail. Anyone who has the login credentials can validate the email account, and all users can see the entire thread in the SuperMail Dialog view. Problem solved!

Thanks, Shari. We’re hoping to see this functionality to be added to the native Monday.com app instead of needing to rely on a third-party app for it. But I appreciate you pointing out a potential solution!

@cbrunskill @TomMitchell @amccombs I totally get what you guys are struggling with, I have created a native Monday App to overcome this, its called SharedMailer and it does exactly what you and I struggled with. its in Early Access right now so it wont show up in marketplace until I complete all the requirement to get app approved like the documentation and everything. But we’re giving early access users a big discount for life-time in its early life. We have a free plan and paid plans starting for as low as $3/month let me know if you’re still in need and I can give you direct access to the application. You can contact me directly at hello@osamahaskari.com or visit our official website sharedmailer.osamahaskari.com to learn more about it and a live use demo of how it works on monday.com. here is a quick screenshot of it in use

Thanks, but again - we’re really hoping to see this feature integrated into Monday itself instead of having to rely on an app/paid app from an external external vendor in marketplace.
