I really like the Snapshot view that comes as part of the Portfolio dashboard. Is it possible to replicate in other boards?
Ideally, I’d like a Dashboard with the Snapshot widget to cover all projects in our instance of Monday.
My initial thought was to have one overarching portfolio to pull all projects/portfolios into but the concept or ‘portfolio of portfolios’ doesn’t exist. And projects can only be added to one portfolio…

Yeah, the ability to have a project in more than one portfolio at a time is not available right now! And like you I’ve noticed that this is a limitation we are struggling with. I am considering like you moving all of my projects to one portfolio. We already use a customized status column in a portfolio to group projects in the table view. But unless I totally missed it, you can’t group or filter the snapshot view. There are a few ways to re-order, but not create a completely separate snapshot view with just a subset of projects.
And, I don’t think the snapshot view is available in anything other than the Portfolio - I didn’t even see it as available in the dashboard that comes with the Portfolio solution.

I spoke to Monday about this and they suggested using Dashboards to pull all the project info together from various portfolios.
There is a kanban view which you can customise to function like the ‘Snapshot view’. Basically, that snapshot view is just a templated kanban view.
