Hi!
We have created a portfolio with several projects. In this portfolio, the schedule column is not updated when a new element is introduced in one of the projects.
What can we do to update it for each new element?
Thanks!

Hi Irene, I wasn’t able to find a Schedule Column in monday’s standard Portfolio template. Assuming this might be a custom board you have created. Are you able to share a couple of screenshots? Can you also clarify what you mean by element? Is that a item or sub item?
Hi Brice,
I mean a timeline column, and when I say element I refer to a new Item.
So, the portfolio timeline column is not updated when I create a new item in any project, with its own timeline.
I’m sorry for my English.
Hi Irene, thanks for clarifying :). If you use the Portfolio Solution (available on Work Management Enterprise Tier) the timeline on the Project level will auto update to Actual Timeline on the Portfolio Level.
More on it here: https://support.monday.com/hc/en-us/articles/13337066797202-The-portfolio-solution
Let me know if you need help assessing whether Enterprise is a good fit for your organisation (if you aren’t on that level already).
Hi @BruceGosk
Thanks for your answer.
It should be like that, but it is not our case. It must be a technical fault.
Is it just our fault or is it happening to someone else?
@Molina its worth checking with monday support directly as monday can see what is, and isn’t enabled on your account on the back end. You can reach them via the question mark icon
Hi!
Again, thank you very much for your help. That’s what I’m going to do.
Wait, we can create portfolios of projects?? Do you mean you can create a “group” of “boards?”
Hi!
Yes, we can create a portfolio of projects. It is a new functionality.
You can create it by adding a new item to your workspace (from the same place where you create the boards).
