According to the webpage What's New - monday.com Product Updates, the date column has been revamped. Looks like the functionality will merge the date column and the timeline column so that you can have a start and an end date, both of which will have timestamps. When will this be released? When you click on that webpage, it takes you here (https://support.monday.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000317520-The-Date-Column) but gives no mention of any updates to the date column.

It really is a hassle to have separate date and timeline columns. Especially since the portfolio management feature has been released, and projects now need a timeline column. There are real limitations with the timeline feature, such as:
- You cannot import dates into the timeline column (and if your previous boards only had a date column but no timeline, makes it very tedious to manually update your timelines from date columns)
- When you view a task in “My Work”, the date in My Work only shows based off the timeline’s end date, which is a bad oversight, many people are asking for the date to be based off the start date. (see community forum post here: My Work and Timelines)
