Hi -I’m new to monday.com - so asking the experts!
We have multiple projects lasting several months each.
Each project has known start and end timelines, due date and a budget cost.
We invoice monthly and the monthly invoice amount is the project cost divided by the duration in months (divided equally) so a $1000 project lasting 2 months has 2 invoices of $500 each.
My question is: How do I create a chart with months on the X axis and monthly invoice amounts for all projects on the Y axis? so for the above example, it would show $5000 in month 1 and the same for month 2. Each month will show the sum of monthly invoices for all projects.
Thanks
@jason42 I don’t think there is a way to create it natively in Monday. if an add-on is an option, you can create such chart with the Analytics & Reports add-on by Screenful. The chart is called Workload and it can be used for tracking allocations of any unit (such as budget) for the upcoming weeks or months. You can learn more from this blog post.

Do you only need to record and show the payments once they have been taken?
That should be relatively straight forward if you use subitems to capture the individual payments. and record the date of each.
You can automate this using either automations or workflows - workflows would be better, but you can still do this with automations.
Happy to help you build this.
Hi Mat - thank you for you kind offer
I have attached 3 images. We have two projects, each project has stages 1, 2 & 3. Stage 3 several months so rather than invoice at the end, we invoice every month in equal amounts - therefore a $40,000 construction stage over 5 months - we would invoice 40k/5 = $8000 a each month. Is there a way to reflect these equal amount in the graph? (Image 3)
