QuickBooks Integration for Monday.com

@mrantoniojam I’m using Monday.com for CRM. We’re a steel fabrication company in the construction industry. Our customer is the general contractor. We currently use Quickbooks Online (QBO) to create an Estimate, send it to contractor for approval, then we create a new “project” in QBO that the accepted estimate is associated with. With QBO Projects, we create an invoice = 50% of estimate value that is sent to contractor request for them to pay 50% deposit. Along the way, we create a 2nd invoice in Projects to collect progress payment for work completed. At the end of project, we do one more invoice as final payment due on the overall estimate/project. I reviewed your demo and website. It looks like you only sync customer data and invoices between Monday.com and QBO. Also looks like you only offer the ability to create a new invoice in Monday.com that is synced with QBO. Do you have on your roadmap the ability to create/sync QBO estimates? In our case, we really only care about creating and viewing Estimates in Monday.com. Perhaps there is way for you to add a 3rd option for Monday sync where you choose Estimates in stead of Invoices or Customers? If not, Can you do this on a consulting basis to customize your QBO integration for our construction industry use case? Please let me know options. Thank you!

@ONDMTN I see you’ve also reached out via our support form. Our support team will respond to your request! Thanks for reaching out!

Interested in knowing if that is a possibility. We use QBO and Monday.com separately, and would potentially be interested in linking if something like this was in fact a possibility. This looks extremely similar to our workflow. Did you end up giving a solution for this?

Did you get a solution for this? Your workflow looks extremely similar to ours. Would love to know if what you’ve asked for was delivered. Interested in the potential of this integration.

Hey @carlylaine we also faced the exact same issue, and built a solution for this internally, would like to share it with you if you’re interested… you can reach out to me on jayvasantjv@gmail.com

Hello again everyone!

The “Integration for QuickBooks” app is now “Virtenia Sync”, and Platform Pioneers is now part of Virtenia. The old links forward to the new site, and the marketplace listing page remains the same.

If you’ve tried the app before, I recommend trying again! We’ve polished numerous rough edges and have it running better and more smoothly than ever. We still run the business on monday, and we now use monday service for support - we’re heavy daily monday users committed to the platform.

We can’t promise 24x7 support, but we can promise very high quality support as fast as we can get back to you, given the reality of time zones.

What’s coming next? More features and better user experience, of course. We are eager to hear from current and prospective users about everything you’d like monday/QuickBooks integration to do. We already know the importance of interacting with more kinds of QuickBooks data and ideally time tracking too - but please reach out with the details of anything you’d like to see in the app: team@virtenia.com

What distinguishes this app from others? First, it is specific to Monday and QuickBooks, not a generic syncing tool. Second, it has features that move data in both directions. Third, it is the original tool in this niche and is therefore long proven with many users.

The new team includes @jbaur and @KyleCordes, and we’ll keep this old user for the app around also.
