QuickBooks Integration

hey there Mondayers!

Anyone know if there’s a way to do an integration with Quick Books, maybe with the new API? I’m not a developer, but I would hire one to do that for my business. Would love some direction so I can do this.

thanks,
-s!

Hey Seena!

Thanks for joining our community! We don’t have a quickbooks integration just yet, but it’s on the roadmap  We hope to finish it this quarter.

In terms of an API connection, you can use Integromat or Zapier to build a custom integration with no code. We are in the process of developing a new version of our Zapier integration, so I’d suggest watching this space until it’s released. Working with the upcoming no-code integrations will ensure whatever you build makes the most of our new API!

Cheers,
Dipro

Curious to know how this one is coming along. The CEO chose Monday.com with the idea that QB Integration was coming soon.

Hi Hollie!

Thank you for the follow-up. Thought the QB integration is still in our roadmap, we do not have an estimate as to when we would be able to establish it. As an alternative, most of our users integrate with QB Online through Zapier.

Regards,
Erick

Thanks Erick. I don’t know anything about Zapier other than it exists. We’ll look into it.

Thank you.

Hello, we were wondering if there was any update to a direct QuickBooks Online integration yet. Is there a definitive timeframe for it? Thank you.

What would this integration presume? I’d like to potentially take this on as a project at the start of next year, but I’m not familiar with Quick Books at all

Been waiting for QB integration. We host a lot of invoice tracking on monday bc it’s easier. It’d be great to have a way to connect

Hey everyone,

I’m afraid i can’t shed any more light on the Quickbooks integration to come natively from monday.com itself, but the integration suggested by @mrautomation does sound really awesome

Thanks so much for your interest in patience here.

@AlexSavchuk As an FYI, we’ve completed the MVP of the QuickBooks<>Monday.com integration and are now working on v2.

If anyone would like to beta test the MVP, and hear what is to come in v2, please fill out this Typeform: Automated Invoice Tracker Version 2 Survey

Hey everyone, we’ve been listening to your feedback and just wanted to send an update:

As per the interest of our first beta testing group, the QuickBooks integration is focusing on QuickBooks Customers and Invoices that we are now calling the “QuickBooks Automated Invoice Tracker”.

If you would like to be a part of the early version 2 beta group, click here! Automated Invoice Tracker Version 2 Survey

@mrautomation I’m hoping to be able to integrate my time spent on various tasks/projects with the timesheet/time activity function in Quickbooks. This would save wasted hours at the end of the week, going back to my calendar and entering all my work hours in by hand. It would be lovely to be able to do this through Google Calendar but it seems that V2 of Invoice for Google Calendar doesn’t allow for timesheets. Is this something that Mr. Automation will be able to help with? Either through Monday or through Google Calendar?

Guys, after conversations with many of you and implementing tons of your direct feedback, we’re ready to launch pre-order for the QuickBooks<>Monday Integration!!!

What we heard over and over again was that you wanted invoice and customer integration functionality that helps you to save lots of time, work smarter, and maximize data quality. That is exactly what we’ve built, and we’re calling it the Automated Invoice Tracker.

We already have an awesome go-live feature set and roadmap of features planned for the product. New features will be rolling out every 6-8 weeks. To prioritize this roadmap and to add to it, we’re going to be heavily weighting direct customer feedback to make sure we’re maximizing value for our customers.

Our goal is to be the best Monday Apps Provider out there, crushing it with the Automated Invoice Tracker (QuickBooks<>Monday Integration) and everything else that we build in the future (we have lots of ideas and would love to hear yours).

The Platform Pioneers website is up, with all of these details and more. On the website, you can pre-order the Automated Invoice Tracker.

From a timeline perspective:

  • We’re launching pre-order literally right now with this post.
  • We’re launching the QuickBooks<>Monday Integration product for general release on October 11th ; and
  • Most importantly: We’re opening up the product early to our first 100 users on September 6th (FYI, based on all of the inbound emails and survey responses that we’ve gotten, we expect this to fill up fast…)

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you guys, and even more importantly, we look forward to partnering with you guys (our customers and partners) to build the best product on the Monday Apps Marketplace thus far.

Oh, and if you want to know how seriously we take everything we build, check out the Lighthouse score of our website. As context, Lighthouse is Google’s way of measuring the quality of websites, how strong website performance is, and how well websites adhere to software development best practices.

We scored pretty well versus the big guys.
