I have created a shareable link for our sales team (who do not have access to monday) so they can see the locations of our upcoming events which all sit in a single board.
In the map widget they cannot see any detail except the location. There is a ‘view item’ button which opens up the item card in the original board, but this doesn’t work on the shareable link.
Could this feature be added, or an option to add another column or two to the initial pop up on the map when you click the location icon (which does work on the shareable link)
If you are keen to utilize a third party app, our Board to Website Widget app might be a solution for your use case. Though you can’t have a map view showing all locations at once with the app – but each item, that has a location column, automatically gets transformed into a Google Maps link.
Have a look at the embedded demo or the directly shared demo, both created from this monday board – imagine the real estate objects to be event locations with some meta information.
