Status notification based upon submitted status not changed status

I have a process in which a Team Leader (TL) submits a work form daily. The TL declares within the form a status of the team - Red, Amber, Green.

I can get a notification to work if the submitted status changes within board but I cant get a notification to work if the submitted status is Red.

E.g If the new item status = Red notify ???

Any help ideas would be great

Have you tried to set up a custom automation like this?

When the form is submitted, based on the status set (i.e. RED), you can then notify the relevant team member… Is this along the lines of what you’re looking for?
